Dr. Quinoza Guvil | Padang Institute of Technology | Indonesia
Dr. Quinoza Guvil is a mathematics lecturer at the Padang Institute of Technology, Indonesia, where he has served since January 2014. He earned her Bachelor’s degree (2011) and Master’s degree (2015) in Mathematics from Andalas University. Her teaching covers core areas of fundamental sciences, including calculus, linear algebra, statistical geodesy, and mathematical geodesy for geodetic engineering students. In addition to academic teaching, he contributed to institutional development as Head of the Division PSMM for Internal Quality Audit (2020–2021), playing an active role in strengthening academic quality standards. Her research spans mathematical modeling, geospatial analysis, and urban studies, with publications on epidemiological modeling, tidal harmonic analysis, parking systems, water absorption, flood management, vegetation index extraction, and urban land surface monitoring. Her works have been published in national and international journals such as Jurnal Ilmiah Poli Rekayasa, Jurnal Teknik Sipil, Sumatra Journal of Disaster, Geography and Geography Education, and Journal of Applied Geospatial Information. He has also presented at prominent conferences including SPI, Geomatika, ICOIRS, ICES, and ICDM.
